Description / Role Overview

As a Web Developer, you will build, maintain, and enhance our web presence — from the corporate website to product pages, digital campaigns, and e-commerce integrations. In an FMCG company launching new SKUs, you’ll enable online touchpoints, support marketing and sales campaigns, and ensure smooth user experience and content updates. You’ll bridge design, content, and backend systems so our digital presence always supports product launches and brand growth.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, update, and maintain the company website(s), landing pages, product pages, and campaign microsites.
  • Implement responsive web design so that pages work flawlessly across devices (desktop, tablets, mobile).
  • Work with marketing & e-commerce teams to support digital campaigns, launch pages, banner/asset integration, tracking, and analytics.
  • Ensure website performance: optimize page load times, minimize errors, handle broken links, and maintain uptime.
  • Maintain code quality, security, SEO best practices, and version control (Git).

Must Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Web Development or equivalent
  • 2–4 years of experience in web development — front-end + back-end / full-stack experience preferred
  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (vanilla + frameworks e.g. React, Vue, Angular)
  • Experience with backend / server-side scripting (PHP, Node.js, Python, or relevant) and database integration
  • Knowledge of RESTful APIs, JSON, and integration of external systems

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools / analytics tools (Google Analytics, Tag Manager, A/B testing)  
  • Exposure to headless CMS, microservices, or JAMstack architecture
  • Experience with progressive web apps (PWA), mobile-first design, offline capabilities
  • Knowledge of cloud hosting / CDNs / serverless architecture
