Description / Role Overview
As the Inventory Manager at Wanova Clean LLP, you will ensure optimal control of inventory across raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished products. In a growing FMCG / cleaning product company with frequent product launches, you’ll manage inventory accuracy, stock levels, material flow, and loss prevention. Your role is critical to balancing availability, cost, and quality — enabling production and sales with minimal disruptions.
You will partner with procurement, operations, warehouse, quality, finance, and logistics to implement efficient inventory systems, lead cycle counts, and ensure real-time visibility into stock across locations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain inventory control policies and procedures, including minimum/maximum levels, reorder points, and safety stocks for SKUs.
- Lead cycle counts, physical stock takes, variance investigations, and rectifications.
- Manage material flow planning: inbound receipts, internal transfers, issue to production, goods outward.
- Monitor inventory metrics: inventory turnover, stock aging, stock-outs, over-stocks, and propose corrective actions.
- Ensure inventory accuracy between warehouse, ERP (Odoo), and accounting; perform reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
Must Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field
- 3+ years experience in inventory / warehouse / stock control roles, preferably in FMCG / manufacturing
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles (FIFO, ABC analysis, cycle count, buffer management)
- Experience with ERP / inventory systems (ours preferred) and Excel / analytics
- Good problem-solving, attention to detail, and ability to manage discrepancies
Nice to have
- Experience implementing warehouse automation / barcode scanning systems / RFID
- Familiarity with demand forecasting, safety stock optimization, inventory segmentation
- Exposure to multi-location inventory management and distribution networks
- Prior involvement in new product launch inventory planning / SKU rationalization
