Description / Role Overview

As the Operations Manager, you will be the strategic partner to the leadership team, owning the execution engine of Wanova Clean LLP. Your mandate is to ensure that factories, warehouses, supply chain, and logistics operate with reliability, agility, and excellence. In a fast-evolving, product-launch-driven FMCG environment, you’ll drive improvements, enforce operational discipline, and partner across functions to deliver on growth targets with zero compromise on quality, cost, or timelines.

You will not just manage operations — you will co-create the future of how Wanova delivers its products, builds its processes, and scales its performance.

Responsibilities

  • End-to-end operations leadership: Oversee factory, warehouse, supply chain, and distribution operations to meet delivery schedules, quality standards, and cost objectives
  • Strategy & execution alignment: Translate leadership’s strategic goals into tactical execution plans across operations; monitor and course-correct regularly.
  • Process & system ownership: Define and optimize workflows, SOPs, KPI frameworks, and feedback loops across production, inventory, logistics, quality, and maintenance.
  • People leadership & team building: Lead, mentor, and grow cross-functional teams (plant managers, warehouse leads, supervisors). Instill ownership, accountability, continuous learning, and a “get things done” mindset.
  • Performance & metrics: Track operational KPIs (OEE, throughput, downtime, yield, lead time, fill rate, on-time delivery, cost variances), analyze trends, and lead improvement initiatives.

Must Have

  • Bachelor’s degree (Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, or relevant field). Master’s / MBA preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in operations management (preferably in FMCG / manufacturing) with 3+ years in leadership roles.
  • Proven track record of managing multi-site operations, meeting growth & cost targets, and driving process improvements.
  • Strong analytical skills, systems thinking, and data-driven decision-making mindset.
  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and execution discipline.

Nice to have

  • Experience in automation / robotics / predictive maintenance / IIoT in manufacturing
  • Exposure to Lean / Six Sigma / continuous improvement methodologies
  • Experience leading green operations, sustainability initiatives, waste reduction programs
  • Prior experience executing large SKU launches or product expansion / plant expansions
