Description / Role Overview
As an IT Manager, you will lead all technology and systems functions within the company. In a growing FMCG business with constant new product launches, digital adoption, and ERP systems like Odoo, your role ensures smooth operations, secure infrastructure, and scalable digital solutions. You’ll oversee IT operations, networks, hardware, software, ERP management, and cybersecurity while enabling business growth through technology.
This is a role with both hands-on technical responsibility and strategic oversight — ensuring IT supports sales, marketing, operations, finance, HR, and manufacturing seamlessly.
Responsibilities
- Lead IT operations: maintain networks, hardware, servers, ERP systems (ours), databases, and communication tools.
- Oversee ERP / our implementation, upgrades, integrations, and ensure data accuracy across modules.
- Manage IT team members, external vendors, consultants, and ensure timely delivery of IT projects.
- Ensure cybersecurity & compliance: firewalls, backups, antivirus, data access controls, disaster recovery systems.
- Support cross-functional teams (Sales, Warehouse, HR, Finance, Manufacturing) with technology and system improvements.
Must Have
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
- 6+ years of IT experience, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial capacity
- Strong knowledge of ERP (Odoo preferred), networking, system administration, cybersecurity
- Experience in managing IT teams, projects, and external vendors
- Ability to troubleshoot and manage both hardware and software issues quickly
Nice to have
- Experience in manufacturing / FMCG / distribution IT systems
- Exposure to warehouse automation, barcode systems, IoT, traceability solutions
- Familiarity with cloud systems (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks / ISO 27001 / GDPR compliance
